LINHART PUBLIC RELATIONS TRANSITIONS MANAGING PARTNER ROLE IN PLANNED EVOLUTION OF DENVER-BASED COMMUNICATIONS FIRM
DENVER, Colo., July 19, 2016 – Sharon H. Linhart, founder and managing partner of Linhart Public Relations, is transitioning to a new role in a planned evolution of the 20-year-old national communications strategy firm, and Paul Raab has been named managing partner, effective today.
Linhart, who founded the Denver-based firm in 1996, will remain involved in client service and business development through year-end, while assisting with a smooth transition. Beginning in 2017, she will devote her attention to her long-time passion for community and philanthropic service, as well as corporate board service.
Raab, who joined Linhart PR 10 years ago, will take on the leadership role of managing partner, while continuing to serve key clients and oversee the growth of the independent, partner-owned firm. He was previously senior vice president and partner.
“I’m incredibly proud and grateful that Linhart PR has grown over the past 20 years to effectively serve our clients, give back to our community and profession, and allow our talented people to do their best work,” said Linhart. “It’s been an amazing journey and a privilege to use communications to make a meaningful impact for organizations. I’m confident that our firm will continue to thrive under Paul’s leadership and guidance.”
Linhart intends to remain highly involved in philanthropic and community efforts after Dec. 31, 2016, including continuing to serve on the boards of the Boettcher Foundation, Junior Achievement and Mountain States Employers Council.
“Linhart PR has earned a reputation for excellence in delivering results, value and great service to our clients, and as the employer of choice for talented PR professionals in Colorado and beyond. We will build on these commitments and core values,” said Raab. “It’s an honor to help lead our firm into the future and to chart our course for the next 20 years.”
With more than 30 years of corporate communications and counseling firm leadership experience, Raab will be responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, client service capabilities, employee experience and business performance. Linhart PR’s other three partners – Carri Clemens, CFO and partner; Kelly Janhunen, senior account director and partner; and Kelly Womer, APR, ABC, vice president and partner – continue in their current roles. The four partners have a collective nine decades of communications, public relations and professional services management experience. Several existing partners have purchased Sharon’s remaining interest in the firm.
Linhart PR and its 23 team members serve clients regionally and nationally from its Denver headquarters. Clients include Chipotle, Johns Manville, UnitedHealthcare and WhiteWave Foods.
Linhart and Raab both have earned the APR (Accredited in Public Relations) credential from the Universal Accreditation Board, administered by the Public Relations Society of America.
