At Linhart PR, we’re proud to be independently owned, because we have the freedom to choose our own path, make our own decisions about growth strategy and investment, and to pursue new opportunities as we see fit. It’s an entrepreneurial approach that is just right for the clients we serve, and a spirit we strive to nurture in our team.
But being independently owned doesn’t mean being alone. That’s where Worldcom Public Relations Group comes in. Worldcom is the world’s leading partnership of independently owned PR and marketing firms, comprising independent experts bringing local knowledge and relationships in 105 cities across 39 countries on six continents. More than 2,000 highly experienced communications professionals serve clients from Worldcom firms across North America and around the world.
For our clients, the value of Linhart PR’s connection with Worldcom is above-and-beyond local and/or sector expertise, relationships, creativity and collaboration where you need it, when you need it. Since becoming a partner in 2007, we have worked with Worldcom colleagues in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Colombia and Mexico, among others, to meet a variety of client needs.
I recently represented Linhart PR at the Worldcom PR Group North America Region annual meeting, joining agency owners and leaders from throughout the U.S. and Canada for three days of active discussion and collaboration in beautiful San Antonio, Tex., hosted by our local partner, KGB Texas. Discussion topics included:
- Attracting, retaining and engaging the next generation of agency leaders
- Planning for and managing agency growth and success
- Best practices in marketing to U.S. Hispanic audiences, a growing demographic with massive purchasing power, presented by our partners in Miami, RockOrange
- Business development, RFPs and how to decide when to pursue client opportunities and when to pass
We were introduced to powerful collaboration opportunities by San Antonio-based iHeart Media and its Unified Partnerships division, which helps agencies serve clients through integrated, data-driven campaigns across social media, radio, streaming, digital media and experiential. Linhart PR currently is working closely with iHeart and the Unified Partnerships team on a public health education campaign in Colorado, and we will look for opportunities to bring this powerful resource to more clients in 2025.
We also heard an inspiring presentation on building purpose into agency work, in order to lift up our clients and team members and to make marketing a force for good, by Roy Spence, legendary co-founder of GSD&M Advertising, longtime creative partner of Southwest Airlines, Walmart and the Texas Department of Transportation (“Don’t Mess with Texas”).
One of the highlights of the meeting was participating in our Worldcom PR Group peer review, an in-depth assessment of business performance, client service standards and collaboration with other Worldcom firms. Each partner firm is reviewed periodically by a panel of owners and leaders of other Worldcom firms, to ensure the Worldcom Management Standard is being upheld. This means partner firms and their clients can trust the counsel and support they’re getting when we collaborate across our global network. I’m glad to say that we passed!
Worldcom PR Group is a powerful resource for Linhart PR and our clients. Its regional and global meetings provide perfect forums for connecting, collaborating, learning and being inspired. We look forward to more Worldcom collaboration in 2025 and beyond.
