DENVER, May 14, 2021 – Linhart Public Relations, a national communications strategy and engagement firm based in Colorado, won a Bronze Anvil Award in the Facebook Engagement category from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its excellence in social media strategy and execution on behalf of the Global Organization for EPA and DHA omega-3s (GOED).
The award entry, titled “Leveraging Key Calendar Moments to Engage Consumers on Facebook for GOED,” highlighted four campaigns that used observances – like August Breastfeeding Month – to communicate the heart, brain, eye and maternal health benefits of EPA and DHA omega-3s, found in fatty fish like salmon or in supplement form, to consumers with targeted Facebook content and ads. Combined, the campaigns drove more than 90,000 engagements and 8,000 website link clicks, for an average cost per engagement of just $0.24.
This is the second time in three years Linhart PR has been recognized for its work in social media by the national PRSA chapter. In 2019, Linhart PR received a national PRSA Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation, also in the Facebook Engagement category, for the campaign, “Relaunching Laura’s Lean on Facebook to Increase Engagement and Drive Sales.”
PRSA Bronze Anvil Awards recognize excellence in communications tactics, and the national competition drew a total of 358 entries this year. Of those, only 33 organizations were selected as winners, including Linhart PR.
